I am way out of shape....the hike in this morning wasn't that bad. The hike back almost killed me!

I'm kind of glad I can't make it out tomorrow because I can tell that I'm going to be so sore that I wouldn't want to make the walk again in the morning.

I can relate. Knees, lower back, and hamstring are letting me know they are unhappy.

It gets "better" when you get older, you learn that the walk in is shorter and the walk out is still as long.

for this reason, im thinking about opening a gym where all we do with our members is put them in waders and a pack pack full of decoys and have them wade through knee deep water for about three miles then turn around and come back. cross fit will go out of business, and duck fit will be the new weight loss trend and ill be filthy rich.

Lol, after blinds and adding brush from teal season to the opener
the mud is just freaking crazy,my wife runs five miles a day,I was telling her what it takes to get to where the birds are, so she followed me out Sunday cause dekes were left from morning hunt. She has new respect for us! All this for 6 birds (quote)lol

Yep, we get sore, get tired, moan and groan sometimes about hunting, but we do it year after year for some reason.
