I was truly blessed on 10-31-13 and was able to harvest this buck... I posted him in an earlier post with the rest of my "families" bucks. I wasn't able to take a real good picture before so my girlfriends cousin sent me a pic of him holding him up for me. I could not be more proud of this deer and I will never forget the feeling that came over me when I walked up on him after me and my girlfriends dad, cousin and uncle spent 7 hours tracking him. This is my 3rd year of hunting and after many 4 1/2 - 5 hour hunts knowing this guy was out there I finally got a shot at my 2nd buck ever and was fortunate enough to take him.

There really is no feeling like it, my girlfriend is going to be a little upset cause there's going to be a little less room in our bed when the skull gets finished

Nice deer. Where did you end up hitting him that the tracking job was so tough? I double lunged him but hit him high and he left no blood to go off of, I honestly have no idea how he got that far. Thanks again guys!
