Anyone have any experience with these? I'm on a budget and I don't have a .22 I was looking at this one to have a fun cheap gun if I can find any ammunition for it. Any experience would help I have read mixed reviews on them but most of the bad reviews involved people who didn't clean them before shooting them.

Its just their normal 22 action, with a cheap plastic shell that looks like an AR-15.

I'd buy a Mossberg 702 before the 715, but Id much rather have a Marlin Mod 60 or Ruger 10/22

id pass on the Mossberg, if your not looking for an AR style I would HIGHLY consider the Marlin 795 I have one and it is a tack driver and is extremely affordable at academy id buy it over a 10/22 anyday. Marlin knows how to make .22

I agree on the Marlin 795, the empty stock is also well suited for a survival rifle.

Plenty of cheap 22's out there without settling for a Mossberg.

I have one that I have decked out with a green dot laser and flashlight.

I did have some problems with it at first, but I completely stripped it and oiled it properly and have not had a single problem...

As far as accuracy... it is excellent for plinking or small varmints.
