Usually a thermos of coffee extra strong, Cajun style! no eats, can wait til I get back to the house. With all this rain in central TX, looks like we be battling mosquitos soon!

Take a chewy Cliff bar or something similar, take it out of the original rattly package, and store it where you can get to it without a lot of fumbling around. I also take a canteen of water.

something i have been using is the little applesauce pouches my kids eat, its quiet enough for bowhunting.
If I send my neighbors a text and ask them to give me feedback on my lawn and plant rye into a giant dong pattern, I'm probably going to get some less than positive feedback. Same goes here.

During the rut when I sit from daylight to dark, I take a couple of sandwiches and bottled water.
How come everybody I meet is a deer hunting expert?

Nothing because than I'll have to poop Hahaha/ I just busted out laughing. My dad says the same thing. I'll carry peeled boiled eggs, salt and pepper, summer sausage and cheese, crackers, water and a 6 pack if its going to be an all day sit. I love hunting from a deer blind.
Sometimes it's hard being me! But somebody has to do it.

I went hunting with a guy years ago that carried some odd snacks to the stand. One afternoon we were walking to our stands and before we split up, he pulled a chicken fried steak out of his front shirt pocket. It wasn't in a Baggie or paper towel, just stuck it in his pocket. I asked him about all the batter that had fallen off inside the pocket and he said he would snack on the crumbs all evening. I always thought he was a little off prior to that, but the chicken fry confirmed it.
I typically go with pop tarts and bottled water.

I don't always shoot deer, but when I do, I prefer B&C's. I don't always shoot ducks, but when I do, I prefer banded ducks.

Opening morning, 2 Allsups B&B burritos with salsa and a one liter Mountain Dew.
All other times, Little Debbie brownies or apple LaraBars, home made jerky (it's ready to go) and bottle of water.

Spend a fortune on scent control and then take coffee to the blind??? Seems contradictory to me.
