Any of ya'll ever played pranks on any of your hunting group?..We had a place down in Menard back in the 80's and newby joined our group..we found a very old mount in a garage..took it and nailed it to a tree near his stand..near a thick brushy area..so he looked as if the Buck was standing there near the tree..he never saw it..we had to go and point it out..

Before I got to my stand, I had to drop a duce. Had some fake blood left from Halloween. Made a "blood trail" leading to my "pile". After the morning hunt, I run back to camp all excited and tell my brothers I just dropped a BIG ONE and I need help tracking it. Take them where the blood starts and act like I can't see it. Just let them lead the way. When they get to it and just turn and look at me, I tell them, "I told Ya it was a Biggun"!!!!

got a "bigfoot" suit and ran about 400 yards away from a buddy's stand. he called me not 2 minutes afterward freaked out like a little girl !!!

A classic, to bad it didn't work.

One time we were hunting outside ozona my buddy had bought this dummy that was a Mexican with a poncho and everything . When everyone got to camp that Friday night we told another guy who hunted with us that the ranch manager came by to tell us to be on the look out for illegals cause a bunch had been coming through . So when he went to bed we put the dummy in his hunting truck . I could not go to sleep that night at all . So the next morning he went out to go start his truck and when he opened the door , well you know what happened I can't even find the words but he had to clean out his underwear.

True story. Deer pulls prank. Man shoots buck. Man doesn't check Deer is 100% dead. Man kneels down, puts 30 30 across antlers for picture. Deer wakes up. Runs away. Man lost Deer and his Rifle. Moral, make sure to check your Deer.

one time we killed a rattle snake around camp and decided it would be funny to coil it up and throw it in a buddy's stand the night before he went hunting... He didnt think it was to funny!

I have a friend that prides himself on finding blood trails. Something tells me he'll find a biggun this year.

We pulled the old deer mount in a tree on several guys on one ranch one season. One them is a member of this forum.

speaken about the holloween gag, whin daughter was little &had ftiends sleep over, they goofed around with the glow-in-the-dark stuff, hair, eye lash, teeth,& such. had thought about bringing it to lease, getting decked out, nudge one out of sleep, but they sleep with their guns .

empty out the contents in sent spray bottle,& replace with doe-in-heat. had bottle poured on me, stinks, does bring out the ladies though

We reset the clocks after my dad went to sleep. We woke him up around 2am (which showed it to be like 5am or so) and he went to his stand. We all went back to sleep. Not a happy camper.

Last weekend I pulled the Tannerite disguised as a rabbit prank on the kids. When the oldest made the shot a pound of tannerite made a big boom. I wish I had video of the kids faces when the so called rabbit went, Boooom!

I used to hunt out of a platform blind made of ply-wood. Before I put it up I drilled several holes to drain any standing water as the ply-wood would eventually warp. During the week (I knew he hunted out of it but he didn't think I knew) a buddy would hunt out of it and trash it up with cigarette butts and cans. He asked me one day why there were so many holes in my blind. I told him before I climb up into it, I fire a few rounds to make sure the coons and critters get off before I get up......he never hunted my stands again.

Take a few empty shell casings and a beer can or two and throw them in your buddys stand. He will freak out when he climbs in , especially on opening morning !

Buddy of mine..played a good one on his hunting partner..set up a old wind up alarm clock..under is blind right at shooting light..didnt go over well..pay backs are hell..cause he had pranked him weeks before..pad locking his blind..!!

Put a little Burt,s Beeswax Lib Balm on the brim of a buddies hat, honey bee's love that stuff.

I'm not the prank type guy nor are the guys I hunt with; however, I will say a few of these ideas seem a bit risky if not downright dangerous. Hope all you guys are safe this weekend.
