Anyone know where I can find a factory made AR15 or M4 platform chambered in 22 magnum? I've been all over the web and can't find anything smaller than .223 . I'm looking for a 22 mag for mainly target and small game, but for the slight increase in power incase of a zombie outbreak.

I'd prefer the M4 carbine platform.

I see conversions, but I'm totally unskilled in gun smithing.

The 22 mag would have feeding issues.

I have seen one in 17 HMR on AR15.com in the variant section.

I've seen the conversions, pretty cheap and I'll end up being able to fire 3 different rounds instead of just .223 and 5.56. Anyone know how difficult it is to install and remove one of these conversions? From what I see you just swap out the bolt assembly?

The Ciener kit is very easy and reliable. I've got the M16 and it is fun!
