Prostaff sucks, buckmaster was better but discontinued and replaced with prostaff 5 I believe, monarch is supposed to be their top of the line, but there are better scopes for the money IMHO.

From what I've experienced, the Prostaff is their entry level scope and works on up from there. IMO they are hard to beat if you're on a budget and they come with a lifetime warranty. There are better scopes out there for sure but they work well for me and my hunts. I'll never go less than a Nikon.

When I purchased my new Tikka, I put a Nikon Monarch 3 scope on it. I love it!! I love it so much, I took my 35 year old Weatherby 3-9 scope off my Remington 700BDL and put a Monarch on it!! The BDC is great. I shot a doe at 310 yards this year with my Tikka.

God bless John Wayne!

I put a Nikon Buck Master on my Styer 243 Pro Hunter several years ago and haven't come up with a good reason to replace it. Good Glass!

Yes! A Weatherby does kill them deader.

I have several Nikon Monarchs, really nice clear glass and a great quality scope! I put these on my 100-200 yard guns. Past that, I go to Nightforce scopes for my distance shooters.

Nikon makes a great scope!

I have a few of the Buckmaster scopes and I think 2 of the Prostaffs. All of them have performed without issue and I have no current plans to replace any of them.

Monarchs are sweet. I like as well or better than my vx3 Leupold

I'll keep my Guns, Money and FREEDOM and you can keep the change....

Prostaff w/bdc myself. Longest shot so far was 525 yards on a buck.

Me, my Brother and my Father all have Nikon Monarchs. I really shouldn't complain but I'm not overly impressed with the clarity. I looked through my friends VXIII and found it to be clearer. What I can say is I hadn't made ANY adjustments to my settings in over 8 years. Also my father sent back and old 3-9x40 that was fogging up and they replaced it with a new Monarch no questions!
