No telling what today will bring!! Got the popup all set up, brushed in, nice lanes, perfect wind, and some roasted corn out...rumble rumble rumble here come about 20 cows! These dudes are all over me! Had to move to another spot! Let's see what happens!! Overlooking some oats, hope they come far enough!

I have always had better luck getting out of the stand and throwing rocks/chasing cows off than letting them wonder off.

Hard to control them on a AM hunt. Feed them a bag or two of cattle cubes on the PM hunts where you want them. They wont follow where you are going for that hunt.
Its worked for me a few times.

Slingshot will run them off. With a slingshot no need to get out of your blind/stand and risk doing any more harm to deer in immediate area. A 3/8" ball bearing to the head or neck of one of the cattle will cause the whole herd to run off.

Ever lobbed one at a cow at 30 yards? Head or neck shot is highly unlikely. Hell, an [censored] shot is pretty damn tough! Broadside body shot is a lot more probable. So reign in your high horse, simmer down and stop taking everything so serious.

I climbed in the Blind early this morning to get some final scouting in before next week. Lo and behold...at sunrise 25 cows covered my entire area. Ugh.

At least you know whose cows they are. One neighbor has his cows on the east side of my place, another has his on the west. I guess I should say "had" since I moved them all to the east this morning before I realized it was two separate groups. Hope they return my calls soon because they'll be picking them up from the sherriff if they wait past Wednesday.
Longhorn wrecked a feeder, the timer, and a game camera. Never mind the 650 pounds of corn they wiped out in the last two weeks.
This morning was a lot more last minute preparation than I intended. Nothing worse than a bad neighbor.
I'd rant some more, but you've probably already stopped reading.
