Wow, we're close. I'm off 209 by Murray Circle Rd. Things sure are green this year and thinking that's keeping the bucks off the feeders until really late evenings and very early morning when they want something other than native browse. How long have you been out that way and on what size a place? Have you killed many good ones over the years?

Good luck over the Murray way. I had the luxury of hunting over there for years. There some nice deer there. I used to have some family ties with Dozier property. Close to the Murray circle. They have passed on and were great people.

Yes it's sugar beet crush on the ground , but they like acorns in the pen better .

Interesting, I put acorns in one my pens last year, deer never touched them.

White oaks are sweeter than red oak. I've tried both and they both taste bitter to me

My brother-in-law hunted this evening. Saw 5 different bucks, all chasing the same 2 does. 1 legal 9-point, let him walk. 4 smaller bucks. We hunt 5 miles south of 209 off Murray Cemetary Rd. It's fixing to get real good!!! No BIG SHOOTERS spotted as of yet.

n_rut, great to hear. I've heard good things about the area off Murray Cemetary Rd., some good size properties with nice bucks that way. I'm about 6 miles from you near 209 and Murray Circle Rd. Good to hear they're starting to mess with the ladies.

I'm in eliasville off of 1974. Hunted last weekend and did not see any rut activity. I'm guessing the next two weeks or so.
