I need help on reloading data for 64gr .224 Nosler Bonded Solid Base. AR 15 rifle 1:9 16 in barrel. I will be using some left over Varget which I used on 69gr .224 SMK bullets.

Thank you for your help.

Ammo/reloading store. Got a box of 100 from Midway. I looked at the Nosler website's reloading data but it's not specified for AR15 type rifle.

Hey Guy's the bullet in question is available at shooters pro shop as an over run at this time! 23.75 USD per 100, they also have 60 gr partitions available as well

I plan on killing some deer with the 64gr BSB this year out of my AR-15, just use Sierra 65gr data or Mexican match some of the 5.56 green tip ammo. That ball weighs about the same and due to steel penetrator the bullet bearing surface is the same.

Has anyone shot the 64 grainers in a 1-12 or 14 twist bolt gun? Mine is a rem 700.

Will they stabilize?

My 1:14 .22-250 has noticeable accuracy drop off once I go over 55 grains of bullet weight.

I shoot the 60 grain partitions in 223 with great results. They are a little bity bit longer than the partitions though.

TO answer this for any others... Nosler's load data is listed as developed in a 1;12 twist so I assume it should work.
