Which camera do you think is the best?

Do you prefer the pictures being text to you or emailed?

I'm about to get one and wanted to get some guy's opinions first.

Sorry to barge in, but I have been wondering about how the system works myself.

I think you have to use a certain carrier like Verizon or AT&T,( not sure which one)!!!

I use 3 of them...the 2013 Covert Black ops has proved to be absolutely the most reliable. I have used the Moultrie, and Scout Guard in the past and both were problematic. You have to use AT&T and can put it on a GoPhone sim card for $10/mo or add a line to your existing AT&T account. It can send txt msg pics to your cell phone or to your email account or both on the same line. You can adjust the sensitivity and frequency of the pics taken. The 2013 model allows you to communicate with the camera turning it on and off, adding phone and email accts and locating it with the built in GPS. It can take up to 12 mega pixel pics that are stored on the sd card but they can only send 640 size. They can be bought for about $349. Make sure you have at least 2 bars reception at your location. The only con is the camera doesn't handle transition shots well but that's a pretty small compared to the benefits. Here's a example of pic quality.

I have the Covert also and love it. I have mine sent to my email simply because I have a plan that only allows me 1000 texts per month and I didn't want to use them all up on pics. I also have an iPhone so sending them via email sends them to my phone anyway. It's also nice to already have them on my big screen home computer when I want to look at something more closely.

Tmobile and AT&T are the only to carriers you can use. I have the hco panda and love it. I like it more than the ltl acorn I had.

Check out the hco panda
