Well I finaly got a chance to go do some deer hunting this morning with the bow. Got in the blind about 6:30 this mornin, feeder went of at 7, and almost right away we had a long spike come in. I was wantin to fling and arrow at him, but he didnt hang around long enough for it to get light, he saw a couple other deer passing about 100 yards off and followed them. Shortly after I had two young spikes come in with a good sized doe. I decided I was going to take her and went to draw my bow, when my cell phone fell out of my pocket and rustled in the leaves. The doe ran about twenty yards and stopped, but the two spikes didnt spook, so she came back in. After about twenty minutes she was working to a good shot clearing so I drew the bow back, but she heard me and stopped behind a tree. I kept held on her and wen curiosity got the best of her and she peaked around the trunk of the tree far enough I let it fly. The shot was quartering towards me so it went in just infront of the shoulder and exited just behind the off side shoulder with a complete pass through. Right at the shot you could see alot of blood, she fell over about ten yards from the spot, got back up went about twenty more and she was done. Shooting a parker set at 63lbs with 100 grain shuttle T's. Matt

Hey there aint nothin wrong with livin in a trailer, its treated me darn good through college, and still getin me through. As for the clutter yeah I know we have about ten too many irons in the fire did some pre season shreding at ranch so still have diesel tanks and air compressor on porch from last weekend. Also I was wearing the green shirt, and the deer is now in the blue ice chest till I go home this weekend to do some more hunting. It aint pretty, but it isnt supposed to be, it is bachelor pad to the max.

Good deal. Hope this is the first of many for you. I would love to try bow hunting some day. Keep up the good work.
I feed Indian Corn, the deer really seem to like it and stay at the feeder longer......and longer....!

The only reason I take a cell phone is because I dont have a watch, anything that is around my wrist gets broken very quickly, I brake the phones almost equaly as fast though.

I take a cell phone cause my wife says I'm too old to be out alone.

Hi guys! New to this forum, Got my 1st this year young doe. Can't wait to get my next. A co-worker of got his first buck of this season this morning. He braved the cold for a great looking deer, 13 points 16" spread and G2's and G3's around 11". Yes I am very jeleious but also happy for him. He has a knack for finding the right spot. Last year he took a good 12 point.
