I'm wanting to put a 30" LED lightbar on the t-top for my boat and was wondering if anybody has suggestions or if y'all already have one for the roll bar on your ATV. I'm looking for something bright enough to light the way so I no longer have to use a handheld spotlight.

Fine by me. I guess mainly what I'm looking for is something that already has brackets to attach to the front of my T-top, either the horizontal bar above the console itself or as far in front as I can

You would be better off finding stainless hardware instead of polished alum kit IMO

i went with the one that has the middle 20 led as beams and the 5 on each end are floods

drilled a hole in the plate to the roof and used a bolt and lock nut

Search for KC Lights, they make tube clamps for adding light. Depending on the size of tube used on your t-top, buy the correct size clamp and mount where needed then mount light to the clamps. No permanent mounting or holes to drill. As far as what light to use, look at http://olympusoffroad.3dcartstores.com/Zeus-Off-Road-Lighting_c_12.html these have a lifetime warranty. The dual row 30 inch is a dual pattern, the middle 20 LEDs have a 10degree spot beam and the putter 10 on each side have a 60degree flood. Amazing lights. I honestly think a 30 inch will be overkill for your boating needs and will actually have you wanting less light. They are bright and powerful, on water you would be light almost a mile with the light reflecting off the water. If there are any waves or trees you will be wanting sunglasses.

you can buy a special clamp or you can do it the cheap and easy way and use a worm clamp to hold it on by the feet of the mounts on the light then around the tube you are mounting it too. I've seen this done a lot on applications like yours.

Has anyone experienced any issues with the mounting hardware that comes with these light bars? Its hard to tell from the pictures if they would break easy or if they are good to go.

Looked up Plashlights and found them near my house so went to pick one up. Got a 40" for the Polaris and mounted right up. Great guys to work with there. I'll have it out this weekend and see how it does!

I have a 40" dr on my ranger and love it. Thinking about mounting 2 more - I on each side. These things are so bright, you literally cannot see out the side. Very pleased with their product, service, and price.

The "cheaper" brands do have noticeable differece3s when you compare one next to a rigid. I have a cheaper brand 40" on my Jeep and next to a 40" from Rigid, you can't notice much of a difference till you look at the fit and finish. Mine was cheaper for a reason, but it still does it's job for me. I figure i could buy two before i gotta buy one Rigid. Given that, in my opinion, if you use it a LOT and beat the hell out of it, Rigid may be worth spending money on. It's hard to kill them. I have one of the Rigid flashlights and holy hell is that thing bright. Rigid also makes different color covers. The company I have also has covers for theirs as well. We can get several different brands through the shop. If interested, just let me know. But I know of only two that have covers.
