Went and scouted yesterday. Had a good number show up here in NE Texas. Thick in the goat weeds!

If you build it, they will come

Hunted Throckmorton County on Tues PM and Wed AM. Birds were in the sunflowers overnight and were pretty hunkered down with the front and the wind. Limited Tues PM but flights sproadic AM Wednesday, shot 9.

Been hammering them for the past 3 weeks. Thought they would have already moved on but their still here and it seems more are coming in. Had 8 yesterday afternoon and should have had an easy limit, but I'm not that good of a shot. My buddy flung a little more lead and ended up with 11.

Hunted this morning next to Southfork Ranch. It was ok, killed 8 doves and 20+ sky rats. Might give it a go this evening to see if it's any better.
