Depart in about 20 minutes. Headwinds! Season opens tomorrow. Have both Elk and Muley tags. Will update and pics as much as I can.

I'd be hunting and not worrying about posting pics and updates unless they have one tied to under a bush for you grin

Good flight minus the headwinds. Taylor picking up hunters from terminal and then over here. Sunny and 50 something.

The miss table isn't bad to sit at. I sat at it one night.

Just got back myself, wish y'all great success!! Weather looks great, (below average temps) for your season by Monday, so that should help "stir" the deer around. They where still somewhat reluctant to migrate where I was due to great rnge conditions and milder weather.

€##%€£<~}^+¥!!!

5 minutes into hunt 200 inch Nontypical Muley at 30 yards! Facing right towards us crosshairs on him, about the time both Taylor and I decided not to wait on broadside he ran off over hill. We got on his again 50 yards, but all we had was head and antlers peaking over hill at us. Good news he's still in area, lost track of him time being, so watching a clearing where they move.

We had gone to another property 2 miles away, hiked ridge. From mile away Taylor glasses the 200 back close to where we first hunted. Hiked out and drove all the way back around. We were stalking him, but were just on a big group through the trees on ridge. After 45 minutes of cat and mouse this boy appeared 90 yards through trees. First we had seen this one all morning, Taylor had never seen it before either.

Not a 200, but that one was full of junk and one side 5" off the other. This one just a pretty symmetrical buck, HUGE body too.
