I've hunted all week with no sign of chasing until....Today! Saw a spike chasing a doe then 30 minutes later a nice 14/15 in 8 point came by chasing a doe hard! I'm hoping I can get back out there today. Good luck everyone as it's fixing to get fun in east tx!

I used to have a lease in Houston County, it was about 2 miles from Weches, TX. Love that area.

I hunt towards Friday in Houston county, I hunted all week as well and saw no rut activity other than lots of rubs on all size trees. They are getting ready to start rutting soon in my part of Houston county. We take 45 to hwy 19 and make a right at the blinking light, which direction is are yall compared to me? We got lots of bucks on camera now and the season looks like its gonna be an above normal year for us.
