I used to work for Sightmark as a rep. Nice people,
slightly average scope. Go with Vortex, Redfield, Leupold,
or Burris. All comparable prices and not made in China!

I own one on a ar platform, it was a 3-9x42... EXCELLENT scope for the price, held 0 very well, locking turrets is a nice feature, never used the illumination much. I am about to buy the 6-18x44 for my 308 set up to see how it works. At only 199.99 I cant see how it would be a bad experience considering it is cheap and the last one I owned was great.

I use to sell those but I don't dabble in optics much anymore, and I actually kept some of the 3x9x42's. I like them a lot actually. Zeroed in very easy and seem to hold just fine. I think its a great scope for the price considering what it is.

Why did you quit selling them? Q.C. issues?

I quit working for them because of Q.C. issues.
Stuff kept coming back as defective.

I quit selling them simply because i do mostly gun shows for my gun business and optics just don't move very well at gun shows, at least not for me. I'm always trying to fine tune my inventory to only carry what moves well and doesn't sit too long. Lucky for me i only had one or two issues with their stuff but the distributor took care of the issues quickly and the issues were resolved. The products are made over sees and you can tell that they do not compare to Leupold or other well made optics but its not a bad product for the price point. Really no worse than a company like Burris who also gets product made overseas.
