Not sure if you can anymore, but you used to be able to hunt Twin Buttes when I lived out there. Saw plenty of ducks on that lake.

Well we got some rain. Going to looking around twin buttes this weekend and see if anything is out there and check the water out.

Good luck if the gates aren't opened back up yet. They're pretty stingy on that here recently

Yeah I saw that the south pool entrance I usually use was closed a week or so ago. If they are closed, oh well.

they close the gates so the roads won't get tore up from mudders after it rains. gonna be a tough season with all of us bumping elbows and shooting the same dam birds!

i think im gonna hunt nasworthy this year...

Loved that lake a few yrs. ago when we hunted the Concho River part and the North side. We had to hunt in my boat back then. Not much water then an it was 6 ft deep drop off by the banks and channel then. Tough hunting and lucky that I took the dog...
