Ran over this small guy with the UTV....sucker looked poisonous so he got a free [censored] kickin!!.... never seen one out at our ranch like this one... when i went to take pics.. he was flatting his head like a cobra...threatening me!!... jokes on him!...

it didn't have that distinctive nose shape.. i would of recognized that..i was about 2 ft from it when i took the pic..... maybe because its small.. hasn't developed it yet?
but per google.. it flattened its head.... didn't hear hissing.. but ...

That is a Hognose, very interesting little snake. Non-venoumous of course.

Hog nosed. Used to play with them as a kid...would turn them right side up and they would roll over and play dead.
