Just left bass pro and sorry to say it was not worth my 4 hour drive
I expected more vendors and some product demo
Something more than a DU and GW table

There were 4 vendors - thats it

I drove all the way from Austin for this
Sad

I wasnt expecting a hunting expo but wow really thought there would have been a little more to look at

I was disappointed as well. There was solid callers at the contest, and it was great seeing everyone. But contest was not ran in a typical contest format. One round instead of three. Judges didn't have an ear for a meat routine. The scoring was confusing. But hey it was free. I wouldnt of gone if I knew it wasn't going be ran like a regular contest.

It was Good to see everyone there!

There was 4 of us that showed up to set up, and promote products.

6 other venders did a NO show...

You can't blame Bass Pro, when the vendors No show.

Contest was a one and done deal.

This is why I did not go. Next sanctioned contest I'll be there.

Sounds like a good thing I didn't bother with the 3 1/2 hr drive for a poorly ran comp.

4 out of 10 show up, that's a management issue

with that said, i would love to see at least a poorly managed event like this at the Cabelas in Buda, they just dont think waterfowlers exist around these parts.

Attention rickym, this is not a troll post, just a good hearted fun type of post

Ya you can just stay down there! Lol! For those who don't know woodiesmacker, he is bad to the bone on a duck call! And you don't want to see him on stage.

Thanks for all that came out, sorry some of our vendors were no shows. As far as the format, this was not a sanctioned contest, nor was it advertised as one. Free entry, free experience, and free gear to the winners!
