Were they alive? They don't look dead and dried up in the picture. That is crazy.

if you can train the buggers it would be like smart technology for shotgun shells that would auto-correct in-flight.

The thing that really makes me squirm about this is that I eat every duck I shoot. To think that bug could be part of the shot going into the meat just doesn't sit right. Doesn't sit right at all. Never using any of that stuff and the engineer who thought that was a good idea is probably crawfishing so hard right now.

Don't forget to take pictures. I'm really looking forward to seeing the outcome of this.

String 'em up and catch you some perch... use the perch to bait a trotline and catch you some yella cats. Should help offset the $$$ you spent on those high dollar shells.

Good luck!

Two problems I see with that proposition.

1) I don't eat mudfish
2) I don't eat mudfish cheers

I would bet that a steel pellet being launch at 1300fps+ isn't going to have many bugs still attached to it.

This is the type of post that makes me come back to the forum. Just when you think everything has been talked about 100 times something that's actually new gets brought up.

Truly mind bottling.
