Monday I hiked into a place I had scouted a few weeks ago and had seen a ton of hog sign everywhere. I built a hog pipe, a little ground blind about 15yds away and placed a Trail cam. (Place is Archery only hence the 15 yds away). I was anxious to check the cam so I did this morning and had a ton of pics of hogs. Each afternoon they stared showing up around 7 or 8pm, were there most of the night, and disappeared around 6 or7am. The big sow in the pic below is one I would like to get.

It is clear from the pics they are not quite sure what to do with the pipe yet (expected), but it is also clear it is bringing them in. Here is my question; should I wait another week or so before I hunt it to let them get used to it and learn how to use it? will it screw things up if i am waiting for them tomorrow night?

It's hard waiting knowing the hogs are there!! Any advise for this rookie hog hunter??

If I would you if you kill a hog on it soon kill the smaller ones first , that big sow is likely gonna bring her babies an maybe a big boar if you leave her , I had a sow I feed for a few years she would bring her babies an they would eat I never shoot her she was always there an kinda became a decoy to attract the others

Gonna head out tonight! Good advise on leaving that big sow. Already named her "Red". Gonna leave her be and take out the others!
