Well, I'm not seeing any birds here in the Austin area. I've been to three lakes.

Anyone seeing birds in San Antonio area?

Or do you folks head to Rock Port?

I've been looking at ponds and small lakes in the area. Nothing yet. I got down to do some fishing today in Aransas Pass and saw a fair amount of birds flying.

I just got word that San Antonio is pretty dry, and most stock tanks are low or dried up, is that true?

Sure is. We haven't gotten a lick of rain around here in quite a while. At least not any decent rain. My favorite teal hole doesn't even exist right now.

True enough, most ponds are just dry holes in the ground down here.

Yeah, and I don't think we'll be getting enough rain to fill many up any time soon. Sucks, but we'll manage. Can't wait to get at 'em!!

Where are you looking in Austin? There are ducks on that little pond at 183 and mopac. Also those retention ponds up by Dell (the parmer North buildings) are covered up with ducks.
