I was looking at some pictures from last years hunts and found this one of a fellow THF member on a hunt right before Christmas. This was one cold day on the mountain!! Josh is a hard core hunter for sure!

When you say a chance to take a bear how does this figure in to the cost?

txhunter11 When I say a chance to take a black bear it means with the archery hunts this year you can choose to take a bear with no additional charge from me just your NM non-resident bear license.

The younger bulls are testing out their bugles and getting hard horned already! The rut is right around the corner!

Still have a couple of spots left for Late November early December these hunts should be during the migration and a prime time to see lots of elk!

Well guys I went to check a camera I have set on a ground blind and found the camera about 30ft from the tree stomped into the mudd. I guess elk don't appreciate being photographed!

Ok guys we start bowhunting tomarrow! Weather is looking awesome and bulls are bugling! Got some more pictures from trail cams. One is by a treestand set up on a wallow. And the others are by a ground blind on a water hole.

Oh forgot to mention we still have a couple of spots open for rifle Nov. and Dec.

Okay guys just got back from our firts rifle hunt. We had a great group of guys from Houston and Kerville! It was a great hunt that included them taking two monster bears!(pics coming soon) We still got a couple of bull elk hunts available for Dec or late Nov. would love to see these hunts go to some THF members.

Was a rough day, but the elk were still hanging tough up top. Jared is good to go guys.

We took a few younger bulls during archery with several missed shots on some big bulls. The first rifle hunt was a bit slow but had some missed shots and some crazy bad luck in some situations. We killed two bears one that will definately go boone and crocket and had a great time with some good guys. I just moved my desk and have a new computer but will post pics when I can get everything together.

Ok guys I had a couple of cancellations and I have decided to discount all remaining rifle bull elk hunts for 2013 to $3000.00 for THF members. I have for spots so get em while they last!

Dang you keep posting prices like that and I may have to come back. I had the time of my life hunting with you guys in Sept. Tony was great. How soon do you need to know something on the rifle hunts and when exactly is it available? im chomping at the bit..

Wes it was great hunting through the hurricane with you guys!LOL That tough old bear you shot came back to the same water hole and got shot during the rifle hunt. He had a huge entry and exit wound in all the right spots but was healing up believe it or not. Give me a call and we will work it out got your email and I will forward it to Tony. God Bless!!!

Had a blast in September as well. This was my first "real" elk hunting experience and I will be back for many years.........or December as Wes said I am ate up with it.
