Last couple of days I've hunted hard and as I'm sitting in . My popups the sound of acorns falling sounds like rain. There every were and my place has a million oak trees. The last few deer I've seen just listened to the feeder go off then right back to the acorns this is keeping them from coming into range. Made for a slow last few hunts. Even the damn squerals have made the switch. Anyone else having this problem? The acorns are falling a few weeks late than last few seasons. Need a frost to spoil the acorns and ruin there buffet!!!

Yep. Same problem on opening weekend.

That's why I came home a day early

We have few acorns here this yr. theyve been hammering the corn. But most years with tons of acorns id just find the trees with most tracks and do good.

I'm in a popup under a huge oak grove lots of fresh sighn. The north wind just kicked up I'm hoping for the best this evening.
