When you say drop in, no i didn't modify the receiver and yes mine is adjustable. Its a great trigger but i would not recommend it for personal defense.

Im actually looking at it for shooting...MY S&W is best for personal defense. Im looking for 1-2 lbs adjustable of course. I will also take a stab at AR15.com Koenig...was this trigger hard to install?

I put a Chip McCormick in my AR when I built it. I think the Timney and the McCormick are the only self contained triggers on the market. Make sure if you get a McCormick or Timney to get anti rotational pins also. I have the KNS ones in mine. When you use a self contained trigger like a Timney or McCormick, there is no tension on the trigger pins holding the pins in therefore they can work their way out when you are shooting. KNS anti rotational pins cannot work their way out.
I highly recommend the McCormick trigger.

You might check into JP triggers. I have a JP on my Colt match target and couldn't be more pleased. If you do a little research, you will find that many place the JP near the top of the list. Mine is a single stage trigger (not sure if JP makes a two stage)......if you are looking for a two stage, Rock River's two stage gets a lot of praise, and won't empty your wallet.
