We got 8 inches of rain north of Somerville today. Hopefully that helped it a lot. I don't hunt there anymore but I do fish the white bass run.

I went to my lease today and I had forgotton what flooded timbe looked like. All the creeks were swollen up into the pastures. In my ten acre pond the water was rushing out of the overflow that we have lined with tarps. I could tell the water ha gotten up and over the whole dam for a while. On the dam, not good. Down in the overflow is exactly where we need it. The smartweed is seeding and all is in balance. Now I need a month to go by an I am good to go.

Looks like Welch ramp is still open.....just say in.
Seems like 4 ft. Below avg pool has been the "magic" number in the past to allow hunting the blinds. Bunches up the public hunting area near Nails even at that level.
Good luck.
