I've been hunting outside of Cody for the past two days. The snowstorm came in yesterday making it freezing cold and it made the hunting conditions yesterday really tough. I finally connected on a buck at about noon today. Hit it at 100 yards or so and right behind the shoulder. The weather today was in the 60's compared to the 30's yesterday, so a lot of the snow melted off.

Day 1:

This is about 5 miles up the highway from the farm

Day 2 with the finished product. The grassy field I shot him in is the same field that appears in the picture with the spotting scope (the wind was blowing very hard which made my hair 100 poofier looking than it already is):

Yup. I scrubbed that thing for an hour last night. My hotel room has an overwhelming smell of Hoppe's 9 but it works great now!
