no.
most counties and municipalities have a 10 acre or more rule.
For it is not the quarry that we truly seek, but the adventure.

Again, going to depend where. For instance if you are in the middle of say Jack County and you only have one acre surrounded by a 2900 acre ranch, then I would say yes. But until you can give more info, nobody can answer your question.
Its kind of like asking, "Can I drive 75-mph?"

If you are able to hunt on that 1 acre, would you be successful? Maybe, if you are between a bedding area and a food plot, and your acre is the travel area...you could be very successful. But your question is very open ended. You need to give more info on the location of your 1 acre.

From the TPWD website.
It is against the law to:
•hunt in a subdivision with lots 10 acres or less in an unincorporated area of a county if the commissioners court, by order, prohibits the discharge of a firearm or the use of archery equipment in such subdivisions. (Contact local county clerk and ask about 235.022, Local Government Code.)
•hunt anywhere that hunting has been prohibited by county or city ordinance.
So the way I read it is that as long as is is not against a county or city ordinance you can hunt. As long as you don't shoot across the property lines or track a shot animal across property lines.

Depends where its located. i used to own a 7 acre deer heaven! Was surrounded by big woods. But i would never kill more than 1 buck a yr. Imo its not right to kill but maybe 1 off of that small acreage...

Sprinkler is known for his eloquent words. He is a sour guy with nothing better to do other than try and get on people's nerves. You'll have to excuse his jerkiness, he doesn't know any better. Small minds can get that way some times.

Only if county commissioners have adopted state set minimums: 10 acre for bow/shotgun and 50 acre for centerfire rifles
