Just curious cause I don't think I've ever seen a rain suit tht was very quiet..... And I don't have any, I was just planning on getting wet but the wind is making me think I'm gonna get a lil chilly

Since my buddy on the lease with is scared of floating away with the rain and has a very nice buck frequenting his feeder I'll be in a popup.

I just can't get into deer hunting in October, at least not in South Texas. Best of luck to you die hard bow hunter types though.

I've never known any rain hear to keep anything totally dry (but I've never shelled out the cash for a "good" rain suit either). I'll just get wet. I'll be watching the radar and my stand is behind the house about 1/2 mile spin can get in and out quickly.

Doesn't rain at our ranch. It has an invisible umbrella over the whole thing. If it finally does I will just sit in a popup.

I wear Squaltex , works great. It's light and breathes and keeps the water out, which keeps me in the stand longer

No, it's got the feel of fleece but not heavy. That's the best way I can describe it

I will be wearing something. I have all black bass pro 100mph gore-tex and cheap plastic camo. Gore-tex is smooth and quite. I shot a deer last year in Jan on draw hunt. Had no issues with noise. The camo is not as good but it is better than sitting in a tree all day soaking wet. Either way I will deal with any noise issues.

I am also curious on the rain gear. Everything that I've tried on seems to be noisy and hot. In the past I just layer up with thin layers and just get wet but that gets old and miserable. At the same time I don't want to sit in the rain all day and finally get a chance at a deer and the crackling sound of rain gear spooks the deer away. Also don't want to be in a sweat box.
So what are some of the gear y'all use during bow season when it's still hot outside?

Go to bass pro and look at the squaltex and gortex lines. They make 0 noise and are not hot. You will not be disappointed . The newer rain gear out right now is like wearing regular hunting gear.

I can second the squaltex. Its lightweight, breathes and is really quiet.
