They look great. You sure eat a lot of steaks.

it's a good cut but from looking at the grain you didn't get
Prime grade

try Prime N.Y Strips next time

I prefer Prime N.Y over filet / tenderloins

Choice Tenderloin or Ribeye's is 3X better than a Prime NY Strip

New Gulf, what seasonings did you use? I have a hard time using anything but cracked black pepper and hymalain sea salt.

yes Bill we do like to have a good steak a couple or three times a week lol.....i know there are those that dont like soy sauce but i use it to bathe my steaks in then i add my seasonings....i use kosher salt and i grind my own peppercorns and i use a lil bit of garlic powder they always turn out excellent no matter what cut of beef i use it on!

I only use Amethyst Bamboo salt and Tellicherry peppercorns on my Wagyu steaks.

They look great. I use ground sea salt fresh ground pepper and If I have it with me run some fresh garlic through the press and rub them with that before seasoning. I also like to let them sit on a plate and napkin a day or two in the fridge. tab of butter on top of my wife's after I take it of, mine usually isn't hot enough to melt the butter all the way.

Darn y'all I don't know if y'all are pulling an old East Texas boys leg or not...but I have never heard of any of the things (Amethyst Bamboo salt or Tellicherry peppercorns or Wagyu steaks) y'all are talking about...just grill mine and put a little salt and pepper on them...guess I don't get out much...

Well dadgummit I looked it all up and sure enough it does exist...I'll stick with good old Angus beef, Morton salt and fresh ground black pepper...
