My dad, uncle, cousin, and I drew Unit 30 in New Mexico this year Nov 9-13. Hunted in NM several times but not anywhere near this Unit. Huge unit, taking in the Guadalupe Mtns and endless desert type hills. If any of you are familiar with this Unit and don't mind sharing tidbits of advice it would be much appreciated. Not gonna have a chance to scout or visit area before November. Thanks

I have hunted Unit 30 the last 18 years and will again this year but we are hunting the first rifle season. Will you be camping in the Queen area? If you are, I have several areas you can hunt that has produced several good bucks and lots of sightings. Get back with me and I can give you some suggested areas as well as some good camping places too.

Lots of hunters on top in the Queens area. Don't overlook the Crow Flats.
