Just wanting some opinions on whats next for the law biding gun owners of this country. I personally think this is a huge step for total gun control. I hope I'm wrong. I don't know why the post under this one (John Kerry- UN TREATY) was removed. I didn't get to read any of the post. So keep this post going with educated comments on whats going to happen next for our gun rights.I am real nearvous about our second rights.

I sure hope it doesn't pass because it will sure mess up the deal that I have to ship a boatload of Red Ryder BB guns to Syria!!!

I honestly believe it will never pass the Senate and Kerry just signed it to pander to his voting base. If he chooses to run for some other office in the future he can preach to all of the gun haters that he tried to pass it but the evil Republicans shot it down.

I have read in the past that once signed, it can be ratified by any future congress.
Therein lies the problem. If true, once the liberals get a supermajority back in, we are done.
