School Board convention this week...I'll have my crew at the Marriott City Center. Any suggestions on nearby 'good eats'?
Thanks,
Jim

Mexican- Javier's. Uptown again.
Steaks- Bob's Steak and Chop House.
Sports Bar- New place in the Omni. Not been there but looks cool.
Burgers-Maple and Motor. Expect a line.

Hope that helps.

There are a lot of great recommendations on this list.

Whenever I go to an unfamiliar place I get on Yelp from my iphone or Yelp.com and search for restaurants around my current location. It helps because you can limit your search by cuisine, location, cost, rating, or all of the above. My wife and I love Yelp.

I love Al Bernait's but a dinner for two can run over $300. Best steak I ever had though.

Ended the conference but hit these places:
Maple and Motor - very good, went with a bacon cheeseburger with fried egg.
Campisi's - great, had the Soprano special.
Del Frisco's - excellent, had small filet that was very tender. Best mashed potatoes ever...but the deserts...WOW...all great, but the Nutella Bread Pudding is the real deal.
