The question was how far is your feeder, not how far you can shoot

About an hour away right now. 75 yards from feeder to stand at the ranch. Had 4 doe and 3 fawns walk past my blind Sunday morning about 15 yards away and they didn't have a clue I was there.

One of mine is 70 yards and the other is around 80 yards. The game trail we usually see deer on is around 120.
One of the guys on our lease has what he calls his "far" feeder and his "far far" feeder. The "far" feeder is just under 300 and I think the "far far" feeder is around 325. He also shoots a custom built rifle and Zeiss scope that probably cost more than the trailer I brought up there.

I have only one, & it's at about 80 yards.

I hunt in Red River County, heavy timber
I have one at 56 yards from blind
the other 25 yards from blind and 60 from camp, easily visible from sitting at the campfire in camp...funny thing is I have killed deer and hogs from sitting in camp

All depends on the terrian, how comofrtable you are shooting at longer distances, etc. I have most of my primary feeders set up at around 100-125 yds because I have my wife, my daughter-in-law and grand kids all hunting from one time or another. But I also have one set up at 265 yds. in a valley with my stand up high on a big bluff. Makes for great shooting but you have to be very proficient with your rifle at that distance. The last thing you want to do is to wound a animal
