Well I checked out Alvarado Archery today everyone from the owner, techs and customers where super friendly and very knowledgeable and helpful. The 30 yard range is nicely set up. Most customers shooting from the 20yard line but if you ask nicely they will move back for you to shoot at 30yd line. They also have many fold out chairs for you to practice shooting while sitting. They have a great assortment of accessories for your bow rather it be a compound, recurve or crossbow. So if your anywhere near the area its a must that you go by and check out there shop.

Last year I drove all the way from Abilene to Alvarado to buy my first bow from Jim. The place is awesome, the people are better. Look forward to going back for my next bow.

Is this the place off 67? If so when are they open?

Trapper they are off 67 and they are open all week i think 9-6 or 7

on the Cleburne side of 35 on 67 north side of the road... any place that actually puts up a sign that says "GONE HUNTING" is probably populated by good guys

how far from Mansfield is this place you speak of and maybe a address would be nice.

In Mansfield take 287 until you hit Midlothian and then take a right and go down 67 until you pass under 35. When you pass under 35 you know your close and stay in your right lane! Its gonna come up fast so I would keep it slow! Also don't speed in that area those highway patrolmen are like flees! Don't know the exact address but that's the directions! I would guess it will take a little over 30 minutes
