Thanks for sharing. I like the one of the spider webs in heavy dew.

Cool insect photos. Number 4 is a Camelback Cricket. I love looking at all the different bugs when out in the field.

Cool pics

Can you imagine walking through spider web pasture before sunrise? I hate walking through spider webs in the dark.

I hope you stepped on that scorpion with your boot after the pic. Never heard of a wind scorpion. I don't see a tail so do they bite or sting?

I had never seen one before either. Had to look it up. He was aggressive and if I got too close, he would raise up and threaten me with his pincers like a crab. His threat worked. From what I read, they aren't poisonous but can pinch and bite pretty hard and they move really fast.

That scorpion got his later that night. We found 5 of them in the garage with a black light. It was the Fourth of July, so I made my very own "Stinger Missiles" with some bottle rockets and duct tape (beer was involved). I didn't get stung but my friend did (whiskey was involved).

The spiders were thicker than I would have thought. Without the dew they would have been invisible. Would suck to be a moth in that environment.
