I've just bought my first bow, a 55-65# 30inch draw. It came with some cheap arrows for practice, can I get some advice on arrow and head combos that will be easy on the pocket book for a noob yet effective with my set up when I finally do get to take a shot. Not sure if it matters but I intend to stalk. This may change, but I've picked up some Redhead Mossy Oak breakup 3D camo and will be camo'd from head to toe, I've already tried it out and have my mom, dad, and brother walk within 8 ft of me without knowing it. My ninja skillz aside, share your wisdom!

I don't know about price comparisons, but I use NAP thunderheads (100grain) and Beman ICS hunter arrows. This is the combo I started with, and aside from trying a few different heads over the years, I've always gone back to this combo to hunt with.

Welcome to the forum.

Go to your local pro shop. Ask questions there. You can't go wrong. They can give you advice that will work best for your set up.

Why are you still talking, I stopped listening a long time ago!!

I also use the same Beman ICS Hunter arrows but Spitfire Pro broadheads. Love those spitfires.

Dont take it to just antbody...take it to big O~s in sherman.Sherman! you might ask, why?Because he can take a cheap bow and make it shoot right through a deer almost every time by utilizing the best arrow wieght ,spline ,poltruded muzzy arrow heads .For those who dont know what poltruded is it is a arrow head bigger diameter than arrow so the arrow offers the least resistance when passing through.Plus he stands behind you and actually watches you shoot and he fine tunes till your arrow flys like a dart. His name Orvy and hes a bad [censored].I shoot a pse nova,a cheap bow by antbodys standards and i kill deer at will ,even pope and youngs off public land....had to throw that in there.
