I'm wondering if anybody in the Jack County, Jermyn area is starting to see any signs yet?

Not yet, but I know that I've killed my biggest bucks in the Jermyn area around the 12th of November that were looking hard. Where abouts you hunting?

I hunt just south of Jermyn off of 1191. I was out there on Thursday and saw all bucks no does. The bucks were all small though. Where is the loving ranch? Is it on the west side of 1191, and how big is it?

My husband just got back from there today. He said he saw a buck following some does.

My husband and I are going out today to set up a ground blind and changing out SD cards.
The cameras put so much anticipation and fun into it. It's an addiction.

I hunt North East of Jacksboro off 148 and the young bucks are just strting to move around. We are seeing a lot of does in the feeders, few acorns and hogs out the wazoo.. We hunted wed-fri last week.

I'm now hunting between graford and jacksboro off hwy 4. We have seen does every time we go but have yet to see any bucks. We have a few scrapes close to one of our ponds, so we put a feeder about 30 yards from it. Hopefully they will come off the mountain, into the bottoms looking for the does. Tons of hog sign too, very little turkey sign.

Got pics of several young bucks that have been hitting the feeders on a regular basis, but no big bucks.

Pic from August 08, but I've not seen this deer since the picture was taken, and haven't gotten any other pics of him.

I won't repost my pics, but I'm finally seeing some deer (inclucing a couple of nice bucks) showing at my feeders the last couple of weeks. Also, the recent rains have really helped my food plots. I'll have nice food plots this year opening day which I did not last year. I'm not in Jack but accross the county line in Young off of HWY 16.

Nice deer...you need to keep those pigs on your side of the highway. We have enough of our own.
I had a young 8 pt and two screwed up little racks I saw last year.

Don't worry, I have every damnnn hog in both Jack and Young counties at my place

I am not lieing before this herd found this feeder, I had 2 weeks of corn stacked under it. In one night I went from that to not a single solitary kernel...4 legged vacuum cleaners...

I live in south east corner of Jack and have seen young bucks following does for that last week or so.......I think they are trying to beat the big boys to the prize.

I'm hunting the same lease as speed trap. We just got back and man was it hot! Saw a lot of small bucks and bunch of does. One guy shot a nice hog (boar) this morning and speed trap went ADD and had to break in his new Encore on a doe. I agree with MamaJodie, the bucks seem to have bunched back up with the warm weather.
Hey MamaJodie, have ya'll tried the burgers at Theresa's in Jermyn yet? We were going to try them yesterday but had to go to Bryson and wound up eating at Cottons. Cottons makes a dang fine burger themselves!
