First buck is a shooter. Probably 4 YO and 120 ish. Not a high scorer but who cares. He's a Dandy IMO.
Life is too short, as is. Don't chance it. Don't text and drive.

Nice buck in the first pic, I'm thinking 5.5 plus.

That first buck is fully mature and would not question anyone that called him a 7 yr old. He should be around 140 or so from those pics.

Thanks for the comments so far! You're all telling me exactly what I want to hear about the 10 point. Any thoughts on the 3 8 pointers?

The 8's all look to be middle-aged bucks, 3-4 yr olds.

If you clear the brush out from in front of the cameras you'll get better pics. Cameras alway want to focus on things close in.

Man you have yourself some awesome prospects. That first Buck should have a bloodline with a rage broadhead in his near future. Good hunting this year man. Keep the pics coming!

I will definitely try to keep the pics coming. I will probably try to check on the 8pt's tomorrow. I just put out one of those big&j blocks so we'll see if they liked it or not. So far all the bucks seem to disappear when they run out of buckjam, so I'll have to be sure I keep them hooked
BlakeJ, I noticed that about the branches also and cleared them out earlier today. I was debating doing so as I was sort of using them to hide my camera so it wouldn't walk away. Funny thing is, the branches were out of the way a little more until the 10pt pushed them in front of the camera so I couldn't get great pics of him.
First one down, many many more to come!

I took, what looks like, your 10-pt's clone last year up in Kent County. Love them old crab-claw bucks.

Sapper, yes in the Killeen area. Csddarden, I really hope so also. Getting him to show up during the legal hours is going to be the challenge though. so far he only shows up anywhere from 9pm, midnight or 2-430am it seems. He will definitely be the first one I go for this year. I think I finally can tell the difference between the other 3 bucks now also. it seems that 2 are 8pts and 1 is a 6pt. and I can also tell the difference between who is the bigger and more dominant of the 2 8's now also. If not, I'd be happy with one of the bigger does in the same area with those 8's. they seem to have been run off lately though since these bucks have shown up for some reason. but I REALLY would like to get a chance at the 10pt as my first buck. then I could decide whether I want to have him shoulder mounted or just do a european. my want is shoulder, but we'll see what my wallet says if I even make it that far.
First one down, many many more to come!
