Nope

Lead? Was trying to figure out what lerad was.

Si Vis Pacem Para Bellum

Speed has never killed anyone, suddenly becoming stationary, that's what gets you.

you must realize that fear is not real, It is a product of thoughts you create. Do not misunderstand, danger is very real, but fear is our choice!

The Condor recovery program started in 1982 with a total of 22 remaining birds, that number is now over 400 birds. They're being released in California, Arizona and Baja CA. There seems to be some gray area's in much of the research being done when it comes to lead poisoning leading me to believe it's not about lead or about Condors but strckly a move to eventually ban hunting. If lead poisoning was truely a problem for scavaging birds it would seem to me that here in Texas we should have Vultures raining down from the sky. We have two large buzzard roosts on the ranch with probably close to 500 birds. Every year I run across dead or injured buzzards, I've yet to see one that seemed sick. Most are injuries sustained while flying (I have seen two buzzards collide in mid air causing one to come crashing down. The others have been impacts with hi-lines or electrocution. Ain't nothing starts a fire quicker than a flaming buzzard hitting the grass, we get that at least once or twice a year.
The buzzards here probably see more lead on this ranch in a year than the Condors do in a life time. I swear they follow me around the ranch or come running as fast as they can just waiting for me to shoot a rattler, Coon or skunk. They love rattlers and will clean one up in just a few minutes leaving only a small section of the spine and ribs.

Yes! A Weatherby does kill them deader.
