I am a single mother and I have one son. I am wondering if there is any one who has some land that they would be willing to let my son and I hunt on this year.I would like to have somewhere fairly close to go so that we do not have to pay for a hotel. If setting up a tent is an option, that would be great because I have one. I live approximately 25 miles south of Dallas and would be interested and land up to 3 hours away.I do not have the money to pay for a lease right now but am hoping to be able to save for one next year. If you happen to have land that has a deer and hogs that you would let us hunt, out of the kindness of your heart, please let me know.I could thank you with some cookies, a smile, and a hug but that's about it for this year. Thank you for your time. you can contact me at huntingmom1972@yahoo.com

Thank you. I don't have a bow. I was hoping to find someone with vacant land so thay we could camp. Day hunts are too hard for us to drive for several hours and then drive back. I don't see well at night and I am directionally challenged smile

No need to be a a**hole. The lady is just attempting to get her boy in the woods. If you would like to discuss this further pm me.

With that attitude you wont get to hunt with many people. But the good part is you may have just pushed someone towards offering her and her son a hunt.

DB... That is with a capital "D" and a capital "B"

If you are so poor, why do you waste everyone's time by posting almost exclusively in the outfitters section asking questions about hunts you can not afford? DB

Ummm maybe... I have about 30 feeders to fill, some fence to be fixed, pens to put up and various other "small" jobs we might work something out.

Grasslands National Park near Decatur, Tx is where you can camp and hunt for free. The have over 13000 acres available. you can stop by the Army Corps of Engineers and gain access to hunt on their land,25 of the 27 lakes here in Texas have hunting areas maintained by the ACEs, but they have a limited number of permits for each of these lakes. They City of Denton has an area that they lease from ACE north of 380 on Lake Lewisville, limited number of permits also, but at a relatively cheap cost of $20.00. I hope this was helpful.
