Looking for a new site for my 6.5 Grendel, last year we were hog hunting at night and I was using a Nikon Monarch scope with the XLR 250 kill light. I shot and killed two hogs but only because I hit them with the first shot. After shooting the muzzle blast washes out you site for a bit and the second shot is more of a prayer than a true shot. Anyway what type of optic would you recommend for hunting at night and achieving faster follow up shots? I was thinking a holographic site or a red dot both of which I have never had or used so impute would be great. Thanks

You need to kill the flash or use night vision/thermal imaging.
