 Last four weeks matagorda beach fishing trips

My wife and i have been blessed to have been able to hit the surf at matagorda beach when its been calm over the gulf. During this time the surf clears up and waves are almost non existent! The speckle trout get thick during this time and my wife has a blast, now if bow season can hurry up! Four weeks ago  Couple weeks ago  Last fri evening and saturday morning 34 trout and four slot reds

Congrats on some nice fish. we're headed down to Matagorda next Thursday thur Sunday. Would love to get into that action. Had redfish on the half shell tonight. Did you catch them on bait or hardware?
