Welcome to the forum. Where will you hunt opening weekend?

I hunted in San Saba county one time in my life. We found a few birds.

welcome

You were just a lurker, General. You have pester Mr. Oxner or be adamant about homeschool to become a troll. grin

This year will be my first upland too, hopefully. We'll see.

BTW, Bill, the only reason I clicked this thread was because of the title, it was just fortuitous that you happened to be posting too.

Welcome. That looks just like my dog that got stolen. Not accusing you. I'm guessing someone needed her more than me.

That sucks. There is a special place in hell for someone who would steal a man's dog. We got Rand from Wildrose kennels, Littermates maybe?

My dog got stolen about 4 years ago, only hunted her one season and bam, she was gone. My neighbors told me they saw a guy in a white truck walking my yard taking "measurements." I've got about 2 acres of property and its easily accessible, so it was easy for him to take her, especially her being a younger and friendly dog.

Never had a dog stolen, but did get back from a long flight test offsite assignment and found my wife had given away my Labrador. I asked her why she did that and she said "that bitch wouldn't stop barking."

The child tells what he got for Christmas, the mature man tells how he spent the day, the immature hunter tells how many birds he shot, the mature gunner tells of the experience. -George Bird Evans

I'm truly without words on that one.
