I have never been dove hunting and here it is 1:30 am and I can't sleep. I just lay in bed and think about tomorrow. Has anyone else ever been like this?

Yes I have and I am now. I always get excited before hunts and even fishing trips. You will have a blast.

If that does not happen to you it's probably time to stop hunting. Happens to me every year for opening season of dove, teal, duck, and archery.
That's why I am up right now, could not sleep, I am not even leaving the house till 6:15 to hunt.

Just got home from working a 13 hour shift and about to pack the car up to head out. This all nighter is definitely worth it

Uh oh. this is the first time I wasn't too excited to sleep. I slept like a rock. But, I was exhausted. And it is dove season. When it excitement stops for me for waterfowl, then I'll worry.

I get this way with archery season but I'm just amazed that a lil bird can make me this way. I finally got to sleep at around 3:30. Well it's 6am and time to get ready. Good luck to everyone and be safe.
