For me........Eggs, Bacon or Sausage, Hash Browns or Home Fries, Biscuts, Gravy and Coffee, plenty black and plenty strong. I think I make the best breakfast, but I am sure there are others out there that can do better.

Let's here some.........

I make oatmeal, sasuage, biscuits, gravy, eggs, coffee(fresh ground)...we like to mix sasuage in the gravy over the biscuits or mix sasuage in with our oatmeal. BTW none of this is instant either.

Sometimes I make breakfast scrambles to go in good tortillias. Its usually potatoes, onions, sasuage, eggs, cheese..sometimes peppers. Have plenty of hot sauce handy also.

My dad makes something called "Eggs in Hell", its basically eggs poached in hot sauce in the skillet. The eggs cook & soak up the sauce & we put that in tortilias.

If/when we might guide & I cook these are the types of breakfasts I will be cooking. Its not fancy, just good ole country cooking.

The best place to get breakfast is at home.
Typical/daily for me it's a high fiber cereal
and 2% milk. Coffee later.

That said, a REAL BREAKFAST is either
Bacon/sausage and eggs, biscuits, home fries and gravy.
or
Pancakes with eggs over easy, bacon
or
Biscuits w/ sausage gravy & fried potatos
or
Egg/sausage/potato tacos w/ salsa.

My favorite place to go for breakfast
is The Original Pancake House.

Add coffee to any and all of the above.
Hot black coffee.

Omelette with sausage, onions, bell peppers, fresh grated cheddar cheese, all scrambled together with a dash of greek seasoning!
On the side you will find sausage links, hash browns, and buttermilk biscuits and two small dishes, one with cream gravy, and the other with picante sauce.
The sausage links on the side only if venison backstrap is not available!
And an ice cold glass of orange juice. Oh, and raspberry preserves!

That is the home menu, if I am at the lease, I go to the local breakfast buffet! (Sams in Fairfield)

Low fat yogurt with granola sprinkled on it if I'm feeling especially naughty that day. A whole wheat bagel with lite cream cheese and a hot cup of tea with honey.

Yeah right...that won't even make a turd!

Show me the meat, my own deer pan sausage made into breakfast tacos, with salsa made from veggies from my garden and a mountain dew.

Now that's what I'm talkin about

Biscuts, Gravy

Every have tomato gravy? I think it is a Mississippi thang. My Grandama from Mississippi use to make, so did my Mom, and I use to make it in my younger days. You should try it if you like white gravy.

Do your biscuits and white gravy like you normally do, but add a can of whole tomatoes to the gravy, crunch up the tomatoes with your fingers into small pieces as you dump the can into the gavy, you want to cook for a while with the can of tomatoes in there.

Man, used to love it when I was a kid, my Grandma made it for me 'every morning when I visited, my moms was pretty good as well, but not as good as Grandma’s.

Not everyone likes it tho. I remember growing up, we would have company over for breakfast, I would tell my mom “Make tomato gravy!!”, she would laugh and say “Not everyone likes it like you.” I never understood how anyone could not like it, but Mom was right, I have seen many over the years that do not like it, including my kids and wife, but they do not like any type gravy so what they know.

Below are my secret breakfast recipes for my kids, I invented all this, and my son invented the naming convention, we have had a lot fun with it over the years...

Sauseggs - This was my first recipes, after this one, then all the recipes just started comming to me, I'm sure you will think of more!! Take sausage, chop up, brown in skillet like hamburger meat, drain fat, throw in eggs, and scramble all together.

Heggs - Take slice ham (cold cut..), chop up, brown in skillet with olive oil, throw in eggs, and scramble all together.

Deggs - Take duck, dice up, brown in skillet with olive oil, throw in eggs, and scramble all together.

I got a lot more if you want them all.

Nice, have not thought of that one!!

You should try Boleggs, same as heggs, but with bologna.

Fried bologna is excellent for breakfast, just got to make some cuts in it so it does not bubble up on ya!!!

Gravy.... it must have gravy to really count no matter what you eat. Throw in some grits and now you have an all day meal.
