I talked my buddy that used to pitch for the Rangers and his son into going. Didn't take much more than an offer to get him excited. Hope y'all have found some folk to turn onto wingshooting.

Sept 8th I will have my wife dove hunting for the first time

My BIL will be down this weekend hunting. I honestly dont know if he has hunted dove before or not.

When they lost consistently, lol. Blu Jays before that...but don't hold it against him...haha. Super nice guy and a man I'm proud to call my friend though, got to love anyone that lives their dreams.

I am taking my boys with me. They have been bird hunting with me many times before. This time I borrowed a old single shot 20 guage for them to share this weekend. I am hoping they get to shoot their first birds this year. They 10 and 12 years old. My twelve year old is almost as exited as me. If they like shooting I am gonna have to see about getting a single 20 ga for them. I cant wait till to see their face when they shoot their first kill of anything.

Big Will is taking me on my first Dove hunt. Really excited about it.

I got my daughter a H&R Pardner, they're still under $200 new.

I will be taking my wife out sunday and well as my 6 year old daughter who will be my bird girl as she says. Shes been telling all her friends at school. Makes me one proud papa.

Wife will be getting her HSC mid September and she'll be going after that.
Deferred last year when we went deer hunting but this will be first year for dove.

I was thinking about seein if anyone would take me to my first public spot. does that count?

took my niece squirrel hunting 2 yrs ago she was 11 and I heard how she bragged for 2 weeks that she was going hunting with Uncle Trey. The whining started when she had to get up early. Get to my deer lease after deer seasons over of course to show her how to hold and aim gun(20 ga youth model) and it took her a while to warm up to that. Long story short trip cut short cuz no mall in the area and we didn't see squirrels mainly because she never quit talking and whining

I've got a few friends bring their kids out for their first dove hunt. Should be fun.

I'll be sitting by just watching. Dang medical bills.....gotta wait till the end of the first week to get my license.

I offered some newbies a trip and haven't heard back from them yet. "They said will work for hunt" I told them i had plenty for them to do. lol... They only had to work Saturday. The rest of the weekend was hunting and fishing.

We got 7 kiddos from 6-10 shooting sun. 20 acres in the city limits planted with sunflower. 410s will be collecting rent from the whitewings. Got a case if aa 410 #8.

You're a good man! .410 rounds are high dollar in my Academy.

Ill be taking my son a few times this year, he's 6. I wont be opening day/weekend. More likely when it cools down some.

I am taking my adopted nephew, he is 12, this will be his first dove hunt. His mother passed away last December and he has been living with us since then. He shot his first hog in January, been fishing a million times and is ready for his first dove hunt! Will be in Olney with Dan at Puddins.

I'm taking a kid that never held a shotgun until college. He shot skeet for UT and actually placed in the state collegiate championship his jr and sr years. Now he wants to dove hunt. I'm looking forward to being thoroughly embarrassed.
