I know most of us have this or something like it on our phones, but for those that don't.. Plug in where you're hunting & you won't be the clown that pops off a shot 10 mins early & gets yelled at by everyone else.. http://www.sunrisesunset.com/usa/Texas.asp

Yelled at? Once the first pop goes its all fair game. It's like LST came 10 min early That's the way we think at public lakes. We usually forget our phones so just wait for the first person to shoot

even once the first shot is taken, if the game warden sees you shoot early, they can still ticket you. I always wait even if everyone else is shooting. Not worth the risk to me.

Game Wardens have been known to pop off a few shots before LST to see if anyone follows their lead. Seems like entrapment to me, but it happens.
