Is it just me or does it seem like there are an abundance of Glock 23's for sale in the classifieds? Why do you suppose that is?

Could be a variety of reasons. Could be that it was the persons first Glock and they just don't like Glocks. Could be because there are a gazillion of them out there so sheer numbers are a factor. The people that I personally know that own them, like them. Once you've put about 10,000 rounds through one, it's just as good as the day it was new (usually) so I don't think reliability is the big issue. Glock has outstanding customer service. Although I'm sure someone will come along and correct me.

There are a huge number of G22/G23 police trade-ins on the market.

I used to hate the look of all Glocks, but my cousin just got a 26 and I can't help myself but stare in awe now. Wouldn't mind a 21 or 23.

Its because I just bought one. Two weeks ago I couldn't find one at all and now that I bought one they are flooding the market.

Cabela's has sold them for as little as $350 including the box and all factory stuff. Or...you can buy one here with only 200 rounds down the pipe for $575. bolt
